Terms of Trade
PAYMENT:
Beattie energy will accept payment by cash, personal cheque, bank cheque, VISA Card, Master Card and finance terms available on request.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Payment is due on the 20th of the month following invoice. Progress invoices will apply when any job runs over one month. The first progress claim will include all equipment or large plant for the contract unless otherwise negotiated. Equipment will be on site or held at Beattie energy premises.
An interest penalty of 2.5 % per month will be added to all overdue accounts and ownership of the materials purchased and installed will not transfer to the purchaser until all invoices are paid in full.
Should accounts remain in arrears after 60 days after completion; these accounts will be passed to Baycorp for collection. All associated costs plus the interest penalty will be added to the account.
VALIDITY:
A quotation is valid for a period of 30 days from the date at the top of this quotation.
You agree and acknowledge that acceptance of this quote for the purchase of the Equipment, that Beattie energy may register a specific security interest over the Equipment on the Personal Property Securities Register. You agree that sections 108, 109, 111(1), 112, 114(1)(a), 116, 117(1)(c), 119, 120(1) & (2), 121, 122, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 131. 132, 133 and 134 of the Personal Properties Securities Act 1999 will not apply, and you waive their right to receive a copy of the verification statement.
WARRANTY:
Our installation materials and workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty.
Manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and labour is from the date of commissioning, subject to regular maintenance being undertaken. Travel charges apply for work outside the greater Christchurch area. Warranty repair work is undertaken only during normal week days and work hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm.
